So there I go missing a few days again. All in all I still consider myself a success as I've posted significantly more this month than in the previous months, or at the very least I'm not a complete failure. Having said that this may be a shorter post than normal as I get back into the swing.
Today I'm thankful for my capacity to learn, I'm very fortunate in that I'm able to retain much of what I'm told. In short I was that kid, you know the one that never had to study to pass all of the tests? As long as it's covered in class I'm ready to spew it back out on test day. More than that though I'm blessed that I stay 'sharp'er longer. I must confess my study of the Gospel has been lacking since I returned from my Mission, however I still find much of the knowledge that I gained over those two years I still maintain. Now if I studied like I should would I know more? Yes. Fortunately this post isn't about my study habits.
I'm also fortunate that I learn quickly. I only have touch the hot stove once, twice tops. I rarely find myself unable to learn something, given I have someone to teach me. It is harder for me to learn something on my own but thanks to the magic of the internet there is no shortage of teachers. Aaaaaaaaand that's all I've got for tonight.
