| Boop Beep Boo Bop Beep! |
I just wanted to get that out of the way, I recognize that there are down sides to the tech I'm thankful for. My best friends are strung all over the country, north Idaho, southern Idaho, Chicago, a whole pack of them in Utah, a brother in Alabama, and a sister in Washington. In an instant however I can connect with any of them. Facebook, though great and abominable, keeps me in touch with may of those I love and what is going on in their lives. Texting allows me to coordinate cross-country game nights and stay in touch with my wife all day long. I can pick up the phone and talk to my mom while I drive home or call dad when I need car advice on the side of the road (all the lessons I should have been learning in the 'garage' I learn on the side of the road). In short I can stay in nearly constant contact with those that I love, I don't have to wait days for mail correspondence (though hand written mail is totally classy and quite meaningful) or have to travel miles to connect with my friends and family. That is something truly amazing.
