Day 30 I Done It!

Well here it is 1 months growth of manly 'stache in the name of stomping out cancer. Also this means I have successfully completed a 30 day challenge, albeit a challenge where all I had to do was do nothing. However it is a small stepping stone towards more involved challenges.

For the month of December I've decided to spend some time being thankful. There was a wave of gratitude on Facewebs this month because of Thanksgiving and I chose not to join in for a couple of reasons. Firstly I saw it as a great opportunity for a challenge because it would have the side effect of increasing my post rate, thus I wanted to save it for a challenge. Secondly because I wanted to save my posts of gratitude for the Christmas season as I feel it better suited for me to be remembering what I am thankful for.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) and I will be referring to my God and my Faith in the coming month. I make no apologies for who I am and what I believe, I do however recognize that if you're reading my blog it probably isn't to get preached at, so while I will express my thanks I'll do my best not to alienate those who believe other than myself. 'stache update

I've been pretty far behind on updating, however my mustache's growth is coming along nicely. My wife and I recently moved and we'll be internet-less for another week, as such any updates will be from my phone and probably pretty short.

So much for posting 2-3 times a week, turns out it's easier to say you'll take a picture of your face and write about your mustache than is to take a picture of your face and write about your mustache. It's day 11 of my mustaches growth and it is definitely in the 'kill it! kill it with fire!' stage. The growing will continue however as the spirit of Movember beats through my veins. I really must admit though I'm not looking forward to eating mashed potatoes this Thanksgiving willst sporting this soup strainer.

Clean shaven

So I'm just doing a quick post tonight to show off my clean shaved-ness! As you can see my face is bare and prepared for a fine English gentleman's mustache!

I'll probably post 2-3 times each week unless I have some ideas for something beyond my mustache to blog about.
